Shared link
ChatGPT shared link to PDF
A share URL is fragile: it can be revoked, it needs a connection, and it renders differently on every screen. Converting it to PDF gives you a fixed, page-numbered copy you actually own.
Works with public ChatGPT share links. You can also paste raw chat text copied from the app.
Where to find the share link
- 1. Open the conversation in ChatGPT on web or mobile.
- 2. Tap the share icon at the top of the thread and confirm — ChatGPT creates a public link ending in
/share/…. - 3. Copy that link and paste it into the box above.
- 4. Press Generate PDF. Every user and assistant turn is rebuilt in order, with the title and source URL printed on the first page.
What gets preserved
The converter reads the conversation data itself rather than screenshotting the page, so structure survives the trip.
- Headings and subheadings
- Bulleted and numbered lists
- Fenced code blocks in monospace
- Markdown tables redrawn as grids
- Block quotes and dividers
- Turn-by-turn You / ChatGPT labels
